The still images we took and what emotions they portray

Danger - Hanging off the edge of the stairs, in danger of falling

Desire - The desire of sporting acheivements

Fear - Being arrested while innocent

Friendship - Shaking hands

Greed - Holding the viewer ransom

Loneliness - Alone in the corridors

Love - Holding a flower

Poverty - Homeless next to the bin

Purity - Pure light

Strength - Lifting a very heavy hammer

Wealth- Holding onto lots of money

Overall, I think these images are effective although purity is rather weak in comparison to the others. Greed and strength are my favourites.

Depict Film - Production

This is the production side of our depict film. There are a couple of changes I might make to the fade-outs of the audio clips as some of them can be heard affecting some of the dialogue but other than that, it works really well. The camera transitions are simple, all being cuts but it fits the vibe of the film and I don't think using fades and wipes would really work for this film. The background music ended up just being the one all the way through rather than 3 different songs as the first song fit the vibe of the film much better than the other 2 songs and seems as most other depict films we watched didn't have any background music so it wasn't essential to have all 3 songs in the film. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this film.

Advertising Case Study

Advertising Campaign Case Study: Fiat Multipla. The fiat Multipla was a ‘unique’ looking car (as illustrated above) in the MPV sector that offered a lot of practicality and more so than the vast majority of its rivals due to its large width and the 3+3 seating layout that the large width allowed for. This gave it much more luggage space than any other MPVs that would be carrying 6 people as any other MPVs would have the back row of seats in the boot, so even if they were folded away, they couldn’t carry 6 people and retain adequate luggage space. The Multipla was certainly an innovative car to the point where Fiat experimented with making a Petrol-Electric hybrid version before any other manufactures bought a hybrid to the market. They also made a version of the Multipla that ran on LPG gas – an alternative fuel source that pre-dates the wide use of electric cars that we see today. Here are the notes I made for my ideas on the Re-brand Target audience – The current advertising and marketing uses features that are clearly designed to attract the attention of young people under 24 and specifically children. I’d rebrand to target more mature adults by using less cartoons in the design and more mature advertising and logo design. Although some products, such as the ‘Peacepops’ hint to older people who remember the peace movement of the 60s, some design changes such as different font choices and darker colours could drastically change the look of the product, logo and website. Logo design – The logo uses white block capital letters with a serif font with an orange surround on a black background.
